Esta situação aconteceu no distrito de Coimbra, e é uma série de situações de condução perigosa por um único condutor de uma carrinha em cerca de 1 minuto, embora não me pareça ser uma condução agressiva, é uma condução imprudente com várias situações perigosas que mete em perigo os outros condutores na estrada. O veículo, uma carrinha branca, começa logo por vir em excesso de velocidade, e vêm a ultrapassar sem fazer pisca, logo de seguida quando me ultrapassa, encosta a passar perto de mim, mas tal é a elevada velocidade com que ele vem que tem que travar para não bater na traseira do veículo que estaca à sua frente. Logo de seguida volta a acelerar para ultrapassar o veículo, mas apenas para meter a carrinha entre os dois veículos à sua frente, com mantêm uma distância de segurança entre eles a uma velocidade de cerca de 90 km/h, mas o condutor da carrinha mete-se nesse espaço e trava, obrigando o condutor que foi ultrapassado, a ter que o ultrapassar, para evitar que pudesse acontecer uma colisão. A seguir o condutor liga o pisca para a direita e começa a encostar na berma, transpondo o traço contínuo da berma e as raias oblíquas, passando muito perto de embater nos railes de divisão das vias, depois volta para a via porque não ia sair ali, e por fim sai à direita, e tudo isto aconteceu em menos de 1 minuto.

Esta situação aconteceu em Coimbra na Avenida da Guarda Inglesa junto da faculdade de desporto, numa rotunda que não é da mesma forma que as tradicionais rotundas, redondas, esta rotunda tem uma forma retangular, e é muito longa. Embora não pareça uma rotunda tradicional, as regras de prioridade e circulação são as mesmas das regras de uma rotunda conforme está no código da estrada. Quando estava a contornar a rotunda na zona que permite contornar ou inverter o sentido da marcha, o condutor não me deu prioridade e acelerou, atravessando o veículo à minha frente e obrigou-me a travar para evitar uma colisão, mas acelerei logo para evitar que o carro que vinha atrás de mim me batesse por trás. Eu estava a circular com uma velocidade moderada e estava a fazer o pisca para a direita, para indicar claramente que iria contornar, mas o condutor apenas se parecer ter abrandado ao aproximar-se da rotunda, no momento em que contornei, ele acelerou. Esta é uma situação que acontece muito neste tipo de rotundas, porque alguns condutores não consideram isto ser uma rotunda e então circulam sempre a direito, sem seguir as linhas de guia para circular na rotunda, e vão sempre a direito.

This is a situation that happens a lot in this type of roundabouts, because some drivers do not consider this to be a roundabout and so they always drive straight, without following the guidelines to go around the roundabout, and they always go straight.

Na entrada Este de Coimbra, na rotunda que liga o acesso à N341 / IC2 / A31 / A1 / Ponte-Açude, o trânsito chega a estar completamente parado ou com uma deslocação de 30 minutos para fazer um quilómetro. Em conjunto com condutores que circula na terceira faixa da esquerda da rotunda para sair na da rotunda, e outros condutores que impedem a passagem da circulação da direita porque querem forçar a entrada, a circulação do trânsito pára completamente.

Esta situação demonstra os problemas quando os condutores circulam mal nas rotundas. Neste caso, de uma rotunda com 3 vias, os condutores circulam pela faixa esquerda da rotunda para sair, e ao mesmo tempo um condutor circula pela faixa de direita para contornar na rotunda, o que acontece é que um deles vai ter que parar para deixar o outro passar.

Como não conduzir nas rotundas em Portugal
1 - Não estacione na rotunda para atender o telefone!!!!!!!
2 - Não comece a dirigir sem olhar para o enorme camião a cruzar a sua faixa.
3 - Não dirija na faixa central para sair da rotunda.
4 - Não dirija na faixa da direita para contornar a rotunda.
E este é um problema que continua em Portugal, gente que não sabe circular nas rotundas. Depois acontece isto, um condutor vai na faixa exterior para contornar a rotunda, o outro condutor vai na faixa central da rotunda para sair da rotunda, um deles vai ter que parar na rotunda para deixar o outro passar… e eu circulo na faixa do meio entre os dois, porque só vou sair na segunda saída da rotunda.
