WindowsFX / LinuxFX – an almost perfect clone of Windows 10, but it’s Linux.
LinuxFX is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu, this version is called WindowsFX because it looks like Windows 10. This versions of the distro ships with an intuitive Cinnamon desktop graphical user interface (GUI) designed to facilitate the transition of users from Windows 10 to a Linux based system. This distro uses graphics, images, icons, menus, control panels, start bar, structures, and dispositions, very similar to the actual version of the Microsoft Windows 10, so the learning curve for a Windows user can be reduced, and allowing the user to easily adapt to this Linux Ubuntu based operating system. Other very important aspect of this Linux distro, is that it has compatibility with software written for Windows (.exe and .msi files) through a Wine port. So the users can install EXE applications/programs on this Linux operating system, and use the programs he needs. Even though it tries to look very similar to the Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, it may have all the visual, navigation, usage and experience similarities, but it has none of the vulnerabilities of that OS! Because it is based on the Linux kernel, and is entirely structure on the security that a Linux operating system offers. This Linux distribution really tries to be a clone of the Microsoft Windows 10, and the result is spectacular and can fool some users, but the point is not to trick anyone, it’s just to bring users to the “penguin” team.

LinuxFX é um distro Linux baseado no Ubuntu, esta versão é chamada de WindowsFX porque se parece muito com o Windows 10. Esta versão da distribuição vem com uma interface gráfica de utilizador/usuário (GUI) de Cinnamon, desenvolvida para facilitar a transição de utilizadores do Windows 10 para um sistema baseado em Linux. Esta distro usa gráficos, imagens, ícones, menus, painéis de controlo, barra de início, estruturas e disposições, muito semelhantes ao usado nas versão real do Microsoft Windows 10, portanto, a curva de aprendizado para um utilizador de Windows pode ser reduzida, permitindo ao utilizador adaptar-se facilmente a este sistema operativo baseado em Linux Ubuntu. Outro aspecto muito importante desta distribuição Linux, é que ela tem compatibilidade com softwares escritos para Windows (arquivos .exe e .msi) através do Wine. Assim, os utilizadores podem instalar aplicativos/programas EXE neste sistema operativo Linux, e usar os programas de que necessita. Mesmo que pareça muito semelhante ao sistema operativo Microsoft Windows 10, pode ter todas as semelhanças visuais, de navegação, de experiência, mas não tem nenhuma das vulnerabilidades desse sistema operacional! Porque é baseado em Linux, e é totalmente estruturado na segurança que um sistema operativo Linux oferece. Esta distribuição Linux realmente tenta ser um clone do Microsoft Windows 10, e o resultado é espetacular e pode enganar alguns utilizadores, mas o objetivo não é enganar ninguém, é apenas trazer os utilizadores para o lado do “Pinguim”.
