Google Cr-48 Chrome Notebook

O CR-48 é o computador portátil de teste que a Google projectou para o programa piloto, e é o primeiro de seu tipo.

Está sempre pronto quando for necessário, inicia em cerca de 10 segundos e retomada do modo 'dormir' instantaneamente. Vem equipado no interior com Wi-Fi e 3G, para o utilizador poder estar ligado em qualquer lado, tem uma câmara web (webcam) para conversação em vídeo. Um monitor LCD de 12 polegadas, teclado completo e um grande rato de toque (touchpad) que lhe permite desfrutar da web confortavelmente. Pesa apenas 1.73 Kg, tem um autonomia de mais de oito horas em uso ativo e uma semana em mode de espeta.
